Hervey-Jumper received his medical degree from the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed both a residency in neurosurgery and a fellowship in neuro-oncology at the University of Michigan. He then completed a clinical fellowship in neuro-oncology at UCSF.

    I believe the provider is very qualified in terms of his technical knowledge; however he did not explain in layman's terms without being prodded to do so and even then referred us back to our referring provider. I came away not knowing very much about the results of a passst procedure or how a surgical procedure would be conducted.

    The doctor went through the last CT scan compared it with all previous CT scans and showed the differences in detail like a medical professor but which a layman like me can understand.
